　　Sanya Hai Chang Fantasy Town officially opened on January 20th. Sanya Hai Chang Fantasy Town is a comprehensive ocean entertainment complex that covers all of your needs: culture tourism, vacation planning, entertainment experiences and shopping. It is located in Haitang Bay and covers a total area of 232.5 thousand square meters. There are 13 entertainment areas, 30 international performances and 8 thematic restaurants in the Town. Mr. Wu Wenxue, former vice director of the China National Tourism Bureau, and Mr. Chen Tiejun, Sanya Vice Mayor, attended the opening ceremony.

　　The town is separated into 8 sections according to the "Maritime Silk Road" line: Haitang Bay, Seas of Africa, Persian Gulf, Bay of Bengal, Java Sea, South China Sea, Waterfront Corridor and Dream Ocean Theatre. Haitang Bay, Seas of Africa, Persian Gulf and Bay of Bengal are the first sections to open.

　　Sanya Hai Chang Fantasy Town has 3000 sea creatures including dolphins and sea lions. Being so close to nature, visitors can definitely look forward to an extraordinary experience. At the opening ceremony the establishment of the Pacific Education and Conservation Centre was announced. In the future Haichang Group will hold a series of exhibitions and science research aimed at environmental protection, biodiversity conservation and cultural studies of the Pacific Region.

　　As an active participant in marine ecological protection, Haichang Group always aims to provide environmental protection with a wide range of support and help. The Research Center for Conservation and Rescue of turtles has also been established at Sanya Hai Chang Fantasy Town.

　　1. The Eye of Sanya

　　You can enjoy the magnificent views from the “The Eye of Sanya". The Eye of Sanya is a 88 meter-high Ferris wheel standing on the Haitang Bay national coast. You will be able to see views of the city, the sea and the hills.

　　2. 5D cinema

　　It is the only «Maritime Silk Road» 5D cinema. Through the 270 degree screen and seat movement, you will be able to experience a unique historical and cultural journey along the Maritime Silk Road.

　　3. Art performance

　　You'll be able to see float parades, A capella performances, fire shows and street performances.

　　4. A taste of the world— Gourmet Feast in Haitang Palace

　　Here you will get to taste delicious food from all over the world, and get close to sea turtles. In the future more than 50 restaurants will open in Sanya Hai Chang Fantasy Town.

　　5. Beer Bay

　　Try Bavarian beer brewed by professional German masters and the German snacks are sure to be a mouthwatering treat.
